Will McCranie has been a performing musician for nearly 25 years, including an eight-year stint in New York City where he signed a publishing deal with Fieldhouse/BMG and toured extensively, averaging nearly 200 shows a year. After returning to Augusta, he expanded his career into event production and promotion, collaborating with Gluestick Music, Adams Entertainment, and Friends With Benefits Productions. In this role, he has been part of productions for artists such as Umphrey’s McGee, The Avett Brothers, Jason Mraz, Ben Folds, Brothers Osborne, Gov’t Mule, The Flaming Lips, Galactic, Lil Uzi Vert, Ms. Sharon Jones, Kid Rock, Shooter Jennings, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Greensky Bluegrass, Yonder Mountain String Band, Jon Pardi, and many others.

Beyond his artistic pursuits, Will is an MBA-prepared business development and marketing professional with nearly two decades of experience spanning startups, healthcare, and nonprofits. He has partnered with clients across diverse industries—including legal services, healthcare, hospitality, food & beverage, media, retail, and the music industry—delivering expertise in marketing strategy, business and creative writing, social media management, web design (a self-proclaimed “Squarespace whisperer”), digital advertising, street and volunteer team management, on-site event production, and live music booking.

Will also contributes to the cultural fabric of Augusta as a music columnist for Augusta Magazine, a proud member of Leadership Augusta’s Class of 2025 and Leadership Columbia County’s Class of 2026, and a board member for 12 Bands of Christmas and the Greater Augusta Arts Council.
